Get to know our directors, Yolanda Petersen, Henk Auret, and Andre Oosthuizen. Each brings a unique perspective and vast experience to our consultancy. They are passionate about helping businesses and individuals find their purpose and achieve their potential.

Andre Oosthuizen

In a legal career spanning over five decades, I have focused primarily on employment. property planning, medical negligence, insurance, trademark, local government and financial services law, and PPP projects.

For the past eight years, I have also devoted a substantial part of my practice to mediation, dispute resolution and to offering training in mediation and negotiation skills and strategies. I have completed mediation and negotiation courses with Conflict Dynamics, the Harvard Law School PON, the London School of Economics, and Mediate. Com. I’m an arbitrator on the Abu Dhabi Global Market Arbitration panel and a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals. I currently chair the SA Municipal Law Forum and am extensively involved in the Denis Goldberg Trust and the Inspiring Future Stars youth development program.

Meet Dr. (hc) Yolanda Petersen, a versatile, innovative, and results-driven female professional with extensive experience in strategic project management, marketing communications, and supply chain optimization. She holds a BCom. (MBM) Marketing and Business Management Degree, as well as certification in Advanced Project Management (APM). Her most recent achievement is an Honorary Doctorate in Philosophy, specializing in Humanitarianism and Conflict Response.

As the Executive Director of [BEGET] SPMS, a Strategic Project Management Company based in South Africa, Dr. (hc) Petersen focuses on driving Women’s Economic Development through end-to-end solutions that emphasize Supply Chain Assessment & Optimization, Value Chain, and Procurement
across industries.

Dr. (hc) Petersen’s expertise in marketing and communications has been honed through her extensive work experience in renowned Advertising Agencies such as TBWA Hunt, Tequila, Ogilvy, King James, and JWT. She has also gained a thorough understanding of warehouse operations, inventory systems, and supply chain optimization strategies and projects In addition to her work in project management and marketing, Dr. (hc) Petersen is passionate about education and skills development.

She is actively involved in the education sector providing skills development, capacity building, career guidance, and employment opportunities, with a special focus on the girl-child. She sits on numerous global boards and has been appointed as Head of the Global Advisory Board for The Indian Forum of Educators (IFE), spanning 20 countries across the globe.


Dr. (hc) Petersen is an international public speaker, representing South Africa at numerous global
conferences. She is also an avid researcher and writer, developing educational training content for a division of the University of Stellenbosch and facilitating modules in Negotiation, Mediation, and Conflict Resolution Skills for corporate companies.

As the Managing Partner and Joint Founder of Future Perspective SA, a Leadership Development Consultancy, Dr. (hc) Petersen is committed to driving change not only in Africa but around the world. She also holds global board positions and directorship roles, including Board Director of Maryland State University, USA; Director of African Empowerment Fund (AEF) in conjunction with Agrikey SA;
South African Country Chair of the G100 Youth Enterprise and Development Wing; and Global Advisory Board Member of Without You Foundation, Nigeria.


Dr. (hc) Petersen is a proud mother to an adorable 8-yearold little girl and continues to inspire others with her unwavering commitment to making a difference in the world.

Henk Auret

I am an experienced executive with a demonstrated history of working in the FMCG, Telecommunications technology, and digital marketing industries. I have a strong skill set in business strategy, operations, financial management, and commercial law.

I hold a law degree and practiced as an attorney for 14 years before transitioning into a career in business. Throughout my years of practice, I had the privilege of representing esteemed clients such as Alexander Forbes and the Government Employees Pension Fund. Currently, I am the Managing Director of Auret Consult, a corporate and legal advisory based in Cape Town. Additionally, I am the driving force behind Resolve Disputes, a mediation services firm.

Over the past 14 years, I have held various positions, including General Manager for a Fresh Produce company. In this role, I was responsible for packing and delivering fresh produce on behalf of prominent farmers such as ZZ2 Tomatoes and Du Toit Fruit to major retailers across South Africa. Furthermore, I have held positions in group operations, where I have successfully led and managed teams to achieve operational excellence.

I am passionate about leveraging my extensive experience and expertise to drive success and growth within organizations. With a proven track record in multiple industries, I am dedicated to delivering exceptional results and fostering innovation.
